What is the amount to be paid to make the reservation effective?
The customer must pay 15% of the total cost of the trip within four calendar days of receiving the booking confirmation as a "registration fee and booking guarantee".
Do the trains have Internet and television?
Televisions are available in the trains' common rooms, as well as Wi-Fi connection.
In addition, the Transcantábrico Train Suites have Wi-Fi and a flat screen for playing DVDs on a computer.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my journey?
Customers can cancel the booking and recover part of the payment depending on the date of cancellation, except for 15% that must be paid to Renfe as compensation, which can be deducted from the "registration fee and booking guarantee". The percentage of the fare to be retained will be as follows:
Cancellation between 30 and 15 days in advance: 25% of the current price.
Cancellation between 14 and 5 days in advance: 50% of the current price.
Cancellation between 4 and 1 day in advance: 80% of the current price.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the trip or non-attendance: 100%

You can change your travel date free of charge as long as it is communicated more than 120 days in advance. If it is communicated between 120 and 31 days in advance, 15% compensation will be charged. No changes can be made less than 31 days in advance.

Are luxury trains prepared for people with reduced mobility?
The model of the Luxury Trains, although updated and equipped with the latest technology, are historic and vintage trains, which means that it is not possible to move around the interior in a wheelchair or walker. There is also no dedicated staff available for this purpose.
